Title: Prayers Needed for the Tornado ravaged sections of the Midwest
Post by: Russ C on November 17, 2013, 07:27:29 pm: I am asking for those who can and do, to pray for those people devastated by the strong storms and tornados here in USA midwest. There are areas of homes that are just gone and hundreds without homes or power.

Also I would like to hear from those members in Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, any of those areas affected by the severe weather today. Just so we will know you are alive and well. I know we have members in some of those states and it will make some of us feel a whole lot better hearing from you. :)

I estimate about $15,000 worth of damage to my home.
We had a one room addition added to our home about 10 years ago and,
Sunday at about 6 pm Eastern, a tornado took the addition right off the house,
damaged that exterior wall, put about 3 holes completely through the west wall of
the home, took half our chimney stack and we had been out of power since about
4 pm Sunday until about 7 pm Monday.
One of the holes was amazing made with a roof shingle completely through the wall
into the interior of the home!
It just hit the wall on the thin edge of the shingle like someone throwing a
Ninja throwing star.
My wife and I were home but, we were not hurt.
Thanks again for thinking of us and thanks to everybody for the prayers.
I know we're going to need the prayers just to deal with the insurance company!
