I see many people are using Flying Dutchman blades which come from the U.S. On this side of the pond which are the best blades to buy in the U.K.

The FD blades are made in Germany....check around you may be able to find a source in the UK!
We love 'em in the "colonies"!

Malc if the UK is any thing like NZ the price will be through the roof.
I have found that I can import blades from the US cheaper than I can buy local.
I also imported some clamps for the saw from the UK, in NZ they were 3 times dearer, go figure.
Some one is making money and I in my infinite wisdom said it was't going to be my hard earned cash.
So FD blades from Mike's if I'm not mistaken will be your best bet.
Just my 1.25 cents worth of information.

Hi malc, I get my blades from Hobbies, never tried FD blades as they are not available here so don't know how they compare but i've never had any problems with Hobbies blades and they are not expensive, Hobbies have also started selling Olson blades, again never tried them so can't comment, heres the link http://www.alwayshobbies.com/Tools-$4-Materials/Fretwork-Tools-$4-Blades.ice (http://www.alwayshobbies.com/Tools-$4-Materials/Fretwork-Tools-$4-Blades.ice) hope this helps.
