Title: 3x5 box with fretwork corners
Post by: DWSudekum on September 24, 2013, 08:41:16 am
Cut from a scrap piece of 2x6 scrap lumber.  The lid and base are 1/8 inch mahogany and the lid fretwork is cut from 1/8 poplar.  The box was sealed with shellac and topcoated with semi gloss lacquer.

Nice work. I like those concentric boxes. Good addition with the fretwork.

Nice idea for taking a simple box and giving it a little something extra to make it not so simple anymore.
