Title: How to print 3d keychain pattern
Post by: no1texan on September 24, 2013, 01:52:48 am
I watched Steve on the Stencil Printer (V1.7) show how to cut out 3d keychain. But I did not see "how" to make the 2 of the 3d pattern on the Stencil Printer...cause it is two patterns, creased and be folded over onto the other side.

Thanks

Phil

All I do is print two copies and attach one to one side of the blank and after carefully lining it up attach the other to the second side of the blank. I make sure they line up with each other perfectly. Works fine for my.

cdrover,
Using Steve's Stencil Printer and Key Chain Printer I have printed as you have described. Mine don't line up perfectly which they need to in order to come out right. It may be that I am printing out the first name and then the last name and different letters are not going to line up.

In Steve's video for 3d Racer Key Chain, the font he uses is like a block out of which the letter is
cut and each letter has its own block. This way the names line up perfectly. It's not the mychain font.

I can't get it to work either...I have several folks who have asked me for these but I can't get the pattern to print out right.  No little knob on the left like he has either...wish someone could help us out with step by step..

I was able to make one by just lining up two different prints. Too bad I broke the 'e' in one of the words. I was really bummed. But now I know not to make the letters so small!
