One of my woodworking friends has made several tribute videos to woodworkers. This tribute is to the Bily Brothers of the late 1800's to early 1900's who are scrollsawers. It is a different time. They were once offered 1 million dollars for one of their clocks...see the video to see if they sold it to Henry Ford.

Amazing that they said they wouldn't sell their work so as not to shame the family name.
Wow, these guys thought big. I can't imagine spending four years on a project even if I had only one season a year to work on it. Impressive.

As I sat watching this Wonderful tribute to two Great Carpenters I thought Is there anyone or two in our time that can match the talent of these two brothers. Thank You for showing us this video. I for one really Enjoyed watching it. Danny :+}

I used to drive my bread truck (when I worked) past that museum every day, now I know the story and will be visiting it this week!!! Thanks for the info. Pete

Interesting indeed. If the museum will allow pictures, and you have the means, take a few and post them, please.

So I went there today, it was more amazing than I thought. I can't imaging the talent these two had. If ever in the area I suggest making a stop. Unfortunately they wouldn't allow pictures but I did buy a couple post cards and will try to take a pix of them and see if I can put them here.
