Title: It's done....
Post by: GrayBeard on September 09, 2013, 05:27:04 pm: Out of surgery and awake by 10:00...Home by 11:30.
Temporary 'stiffening' cast from hand to mid-bicep. So far no pain to speak of but the 'block' will wear off in about an hour.
Dr. said everything went well and we'll just have to wait & see about the ulnar nerve damage repair but he is optimistic.
Will get the 'cast' off next Wed. and then just let everything heal.

My Thanks once again for the prayers & good wishes of my wonderful extended FAMILY!

12 hours since I woke up and have yet to take a 'pain pill' of which I have plenty. Not trying to be a martyr or anything but I just have felt only slight twinges. We'll see what morning brings.

Feeling darn lucky so far but my doc is a very good bone & joint fixer!
