Title: Scroll saw and the wood lathe projects
Post by: MicahM on September 01, 2013, 01:10:26 pm
Anyone have and ideas for projects that would use the scroll saw along with a wood lathe? Anything is a acceptable idea, even the crazy ones as long as they are safe lol  ;D

If you make pens, here's something that Jeff Powell wrote a tutorial for in one of the magazines. The leafs are various types of hardwood cut on the scroll saw. The blue is poly resin.

Here's a link to a bell tower I made some time ago. It required 120 spindles and columns all turned on a mini-lathe.
Cheers, Gadois

I am impressed with the ideas.  I scroll and turn too and the only thing I have done is the halos on Diana Thompson awareness angels.

Just finished 120 angels so any short cut was required.
