Title: puzzle projects

Hi fellow travellers I am looking for puzzles that are not the conventional type but puzzles that are designed to fit into a certain corresponding slot they can be fruit or anything to stimulate small children's minds I'm not sure if this is going to make sense but I will submit it anyway. Can you provide a photo or drawing of what you're looking for, or link to an on-line sample? Not sure what's meant by "corresponding slot".

Hi EIEIO I don't have any documentation as such I guess what I am trying to say is that the pattern would be similar to general IQ tests where participants have to place a shape be it geometric or whatever  designed to fit into a particular slot and doesn't fit any other  slot. I hope this has been helpful .

Is that like triangle, square, circle, star, and other shapes that a very young child might play with? Something like this?

I believe what he is referring too is a tray style puzzle...Similar to the attached.

I guess we were both trying to find a pic at the same time...

yes that is the type of article I have been asked to put one together with fruit such as apples cherries etc.the tortoise looks great as well

I'll take a shot this weekend. We have 2, 3, and 4 year old grandnieces that might play with that as well. They are just starting "monkey school". :)

I have made several of these by finding silhouettes of the images and cutting around the image.
I will see what I can come up with for you.
