Title: Recent segmented bird pattern
Post by: rochar3 on July 03, 2013, 10:17:14 am
Hey Folks,
I have just spent the past hour or so trying to print the actual pattern(page 10) with no luck. The rest of the pattern file prints just fine but gives me a blank piece of paper for page 10. Anyone else having this problem? I use a Mac and a Canon printer. Your comments or "work arounds" would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bob

I printed it (but it is page 11) and it worked just fine.

As one possible work around, you'll need to save the pdf file to your computer first.  Then open it.  Go to the page you are having trouble with.  Click on Edit in the Menu Bar and then select "Take a snapshot".  Position your cursor at one corner then click and hold while you drag your mouse to the opposite corner.  This will highlight the selected area.  Let go of the mouse button (unclick?) and it will copy the selected area.  Now just open your favorite graphics program and paste it.  You should be able to print it from there.

I am assuming in all of this that clicking and dragging works the same on a Mac as it does on a PC.  PC's are all I have ever had.  You may have to alter the execution steps if the Mac works differently but the theory should (AFAIK) still apply.

If push comes to shove, I now have a printout of it and can mail it to you if you want.   :)

Hope this helps.
