I am an optimistic realist. I always hope for the best, but in a situation I analyze it. If it is going to turn out for the worst then I am Optimistically sure it is going to be bad. So in the glass half full situation. I would analyze the glass and see it as half full until something happened to lessen the amount. Then the realist in me would say, "That glass is not getting any fuller."

I'm a pragmatic, so would say: "honey can you fill it up again?"
