Title: The Woodwright's Shop
Post by: countryscroller on June 15, 2013, 03:04:51 am
I've never seen this show before, but I watched this whole video. The joy of woodworking in itself is great. Being able to build everything you need from the resources around you is what I think is really cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TsRkTRbuIk (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TsRkTRbuIk)

I've been watching him for years on PBS./  He can get pretty goofy sometimes but he does some amazing craftsmanship with just hand or no power tools.  His lathe is really cool.  My leg would give out.

I have watched him occasionally through the years, I used to watch Norm Abhram religiously every weekend on PBS. :)

I watch Roy Underhill while I was stationed in VA.  His program is not on in Atlanta, there is not that many of his type of show on here.  Norm Abraham used to be on but now that has disappeared also.
