Scary isn't it! Pay all that money for a 'good' saw and the first thing you notice is that the blade holders wobble!!!

RELAX! That is perfectly normal and the 'wobble' will be taken care of when you mount a blade and apply the tension.
Also under the table is a 'guard' that is supposed to protect you from the blade when the saw is running. Who on God's earth puts their hand there when the saw is running? Get rid of it as well as that stupid 'wood hold-down' above the table.

Clean the saw table with some mineral spirits, then with some alcohol to remove any residue. Next apply a coat of Johnson's Paste Wax, not too much. Let it dry and polish that sucker so the wood slides more easily.

Mount a blade, set your tension and grab some 3/4" pine and start practicing!!!!!

And be sure to let us know how you get along....

There's a guard UNDER the table too?  I'll have to look.  I don't think I have ever noticed that before.  Weird.  My saw was the demo model at the store so it came pre-assembled.  It didn't have the upper guard in place.  Perhaps it never had the lower guard either.

Rob, clean and rewax the table every month or so.  It will make a huge difference!  I sawed for several months without wax (hadn't learned that tip yet) and when I finally did put the wax on my "skills" improved dramatically.
