Title: Something to do with scrap wood
Post by: Dan26 on May 21, 2013, 03:14:17 pm
...Arrowheads. I had some small pieces of spalted maple sitting around and couldn't toss them so I made some arrowheads. It took about 30 minutes to cut, shape, and apply the finish on all 8 of these. They are 2" and 2-1/2" long. I think I'll make a bunch more from other types of wood and put them in a $1 box at the next craft show. I'll also give them away to the kids that behave while visiting the booth. Could also drill a small hole and hang it like a necklace.

Those arrowheads turned out awesome. love the looks of them. I have a couple of future Intarsias that they would look great in, maybe I'll toss the ones I bought and make some like yours.   Great idea, thanks for posting them.
