Does this pattern look too... "busy"?
-
Looks good but hard to tell where the arms or hands are if you planned to have those show, it does have good detail, alot of holes to drill.
-
yes, too hard to extract the underlying shapes. I like your straight forward '50s cartoons. This one is hard to read.
-
I agree with Dirtrider and EIEIO, hard to read . If you can reduce the details and make it visible ,it will look great!

Repectfully, I disagree. I think it will make a wonderful fairy pattern with just a little work, I don't think it is all that busy. I also like your '50s cartoons.
Just my two cents worth.

Thank you so much for all the advice. I felt it might have been "too much," but maybe I need to define certain lines to make arms, legs, etc., more visible.
I'm certainly going to continue with my 50s cartoons...I really just love that style and also the content for that era. While the 50s is before my time, I still enjoy making those projects. I wander into other types of projects to keep my followers on my blog interested.
Thanks again for the advice...I'm going back to the drawing board on this one. Maybe try to define my lines better.

It's a great pattern, but I agree with the other forum members.
Keep going, because you have very creative ideas, thanks for sharing.

You do have great ideas Anne! I love everything you come up with. I envy you as I can't draw a straight line with a ruler and pencil! I can cut anything you come up with, I just can't draw it!
Keep it up!

I agree with Dan. I love your patterns even the ones that are most usual. I may not cut them but I certainly love looking at them. You have a unique view where patterns are concerned. Keep up the good work.
