made a Opel P1 from 1960 for a friends birthday.
Pattern was made by Paul (Grampa)
1/2 cherry wood on a 1/16" BB backer. (7.7"x4.8")
Spray painted the top of the backer black before gluing it together.
finished with clear lacker.
I used the card from Steve and glued it on the back, couple of layers coat over it.

Very nicely done Marcellarius. I used to own and drive an Opel but it was a 1975 one. Great job on this, thanks for sharing it with us.

Lovely job Marcell, my son had an Opel, but it was a Manta. A lovely car just as your one is.

yes it is, they come with adhesive on it, just peel away the paper and it sticks on it.
then I spray 2-3 coats of lacker over it. seals it nice.
it's strong enough for this kind of projects.
