Wow that is very good work. The detail is very nice. Did you use a pattern from somewhere or did you create that pattern on your own? Either way very nice. Thanks for sharing. Did you put this on the intarsia page?

Thanks everybody ,Troy !I got the idea from a painting I saw,I knew it would made a interesting Intarsia piece ,if I could pull it off ,So I made modifications to it then , the pattern ,no, I have not posted on the Intarsia site ,I get caught up in details , That I like ,The chalenge is addictive ,at least to me! Just like my Eagle I carved out of 3/4"plywood ,Just had to see if I could do it .Nobody thinks it can be done ,but it can be!
It's the chalenge that keeps us all going ,sure isn't the pay.

Absolutely Awesome!
I wish that was a pattern just so I could attempt it too, but I am very impressed that you developed a pattern from a painting. I wish I could do that.
I love the piece of art you have created, you did a very good job with it.
What size is it? and approximately how many pieces?

Josh, It's 26"x21" w1 1/4 " diy Walnut frame ,I never counted the pcs,but I lost several and had to remake over and a couple to change color or grain pattern. Josh, some ideas just gnaw at you long enough that
you figure out ,what you can do to accomplish your idea .For me it's a step by step process and takes a while to make sense, but some ideas keep gnawing at you long enough till the little light finally lights up and keeps brightening till can start with some confidence .If that don't sound like phyco babble?
