someone  had asked for a portrait of a sugar skull, i found it was pretty cool. when looked it up on line i thought it would make a great intarsia project so here is what i came up with

Very unusual but i like it.  It looks like a tattoo pattern?  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Very Cool!
Agreeing with DW, it does look like a tattoo pattern, but I say that because I have a Day of the Dead, or Sugar Skull tattoo on my left arm

Wow, that is fantastic. I am not a big fan of skulls, but must admit this is a very artistic piece of work. Truly a nice job on all the cutting. The colors are great. Better yet, it is your own design and has a person in mind for this beautiful work. You should post this in the intarsia page. Thanks for sharing.
