Hello everyone,
I've started making scrollsaw bowls and was wondering if anyone has used this for sanding.

I too have just started making SS bowls. I just purchased the system and after using for a couple of days, I am pleased. Like everything else, has a learning curve.Bobbie

If you make square bowls you can use your random orbit sander. A spindle and belt sander do the major work and the inflatable does the final touch-up. Use the ROS on the outside to get a consistent contour and finish to 320 or more.. Works on round or square but not waves.

I got mine just last week and it really works well. Makes a breeze of sanding the rings for bowls and boxes on glue up. Of course, sand the inside before you attach the bottom. Inflating the drum is not all that easy as it should be, but doable. I got the motor the flex shaft, the ball drum and the big drum. I'm very happy with it!
