Mine came in the mail today and you can imagine my surprise when I looked at the front cover and found the pattern Charlie D. did of "SPLINTER" for me on the front cover!
I don't know if he submitted it to the company or if they just grabbed it off this group when he posted it last year!?!?!?!?

They are really honest and NICE people over at Wooden Teddy! I would imagine that they worked out something with Charles and are doing things on the up and up. I can't imagine them just taking someone's work like that! They are great people!

Yep I got the catalog. I really like that one. I also got one from scroller on line. That was a nice one to get too.

Well the reply from Sheila was what I expected...all my dealings with Wooden Teddy BVear have been very well handled and courteous.
I will be checking with Charlie to see if he sold the pattern and if not it is another example of what he has had happen in the past.
As far as that "Scroller" place they will never get any orders from most of the members of this forum!

Hmmmm, it appears I've missed something here GB. Are you referring to Wooden Teddy Bear?

I noticed that in the new Scroller catalog there were none of Sheila's patterns in it. I hope it doesn't affect her to much!
-
We can't risk a libel suit but I will say I WAS NOT referring to Wooden Teddy Bear!

We no longer deal with Scroller. I hope that their customers will come to us directly or order our patterns from Wooden Teddy or Woodworkers Workshop online. I hope that everyone will be able to find us. (Tell your friends we are still here!)
I heard from Charles that he is working with Scroller now too, so he probably is also selling to Wooden Teddy. I'll see if I can find out from him directly. :)

I just heard from Charles and he said that he indeed does sell his patterns to Wooden Teddy Bear. So all is cool! If you can't find him, be sure to look there for his amazing work! :)

What a group!
This gathering of people with a satisfying and creative hobby has become more like a 'family' every day!!! We not only try to help each other with our common interest...We've got each others' backs!
Did Steve Good ever imagine when starting this project that he would unite people all around the world and integrate them into a close knit family who are so interested in more than just a hobby?
Sheila... Thank You, for taking the initiative and clarifying this situation.
Steve, Thank You once again for making this all possible.
