Title: Steve's dolphin inlay box
Post by: Dean A on December 16, 2012, 07:59:47 pm
Just finished up the inlay dolphin box that Steve has on his site.

I enlarged the design to 150% so that I had a bigger box

I made the box body out of popular and the inlay was purple heart. The top is streaked popular I found at the big box. I incorporated the streak to look like the dolphin was diving into water.

Thank you all for the feedback. I really enjoy inlay, I'm going to try some more soon. If you haven't tried it, I suggest you do. A little challenging, but all and all it was fun. Isn't that what this is all about?
