Hello,
I have a question on finishing.
I sprayed clear coat on one of my projects and noticed a little fuzz or dust got on the finish while it was drying. What steps do I take to correct this?
Thanks

You might lightly sand with 400 grit wet/dry sandapaper and give it another coat. I remove all dust from a project with a vac and then use a tack rag. Avoid applying finish in a dusty environment. Good luck

I use 4000 grit sandpaper (square cut from a brown paper grocery bag) and give the piece a few rubs between coats.

ok, I'll try the paper bag trick then.
Thx

The brown paper bag is the best and cheapest way to go!

I just happen to have a ream of 3000 grit automotive wet/dry sand paper and that is what I use between coats. :)

Also, make sure you're not too far away. I've found that if you spray from too far away it seems like the droplets dry a little on the way down and it appears bumpy.

Well I guess I can't add anything it has all been said, and I use all of the above. And it works.

I use an old swatch of Soft Levi Material. I use that when I make my custom knife handles and it works great.

Never used the Levi material - will try it. But - - brown paper bag works miracles.

Yep, I've used Tommy's method a few time. Usually while I'm still wearing the Jeans. By the way, CA Glue is tough on jeans.. I've actually had it burn my skin. The moment the CA Glue hits your jeans it starts to heat up. I've actually seen it start to smoke on my leg.
