I have searched all over online and can't find any solid oak. Somebody wants an item made of Oak, NOT oak plywood and NOT red oak. I need at least 10 inches by 6 inches.
-
did you try <ocoochhardwoods.com>?????
-
You might want quarter-sawn white oak. Ocooch has it, I think.

Ocooch Hardwoods has Scroll Saw White Oak here. http://www.ocoochhardwoods.com/Scroll_Saw_Lumber.html But they don't have the width you want.
They do have unsurfaced wood in 4/4 size on this page http://www.ocoochhardwoods.com/Unsurfaced.html No listing of widths but lengths up to 8 ft. Probably best to give them a call to see if they have what you want or can finish it to what you want.
Their toll free number: 888-322-2432 Their email address: clhacker@mwt.net

I have found some old pallets were made from white oak. Most places just throw them out. Dave 8)
