Hi everyone!
Juste a little question...
Last time I used my scrollsaw, my arm didn't want to lift to change the blade. The only way to make it lift, was to loose the tension button at the end of the saw. I dond't know if it's normal because I never touched that tension button...
What do you thnink?

I have had this happen with my EX21 and what I do is just "tap"my foot pedal and I assume the arms get into a position that allows it to raise. I really don't know what causes it, but this seems to work.

They need adjusting from time to time

I've had the same problem from time to time, and tapping the foot control very briefly relieves it. I've told Ray at Seyco about it, and he didn't see it as a problem. Just means the saw stopped at a place where you can't lift the arm. Again, just tap the power..

Thank you!
I don't have a foot pedal, but I guess it will do the same if I do it with the ON/OFF switch

It's common for both the Excalibur and DeWalt saws. Also the Delta 40-690 and 40-695 saws. It's just the way they are designed.

Yep...like stopping at the very top point of a cam....
foot pedal switch is a lot more convenient.
