Monday I go look at a Hawk 220VS
Like new with extras $300
Wish me luck
Would be nice tohave a working saw.
On 5th week waiting for parts for mine

Make sure you take some blades and some wood so you can give it a good test drive! sounds like a good price.

Terrific saw in my opinion.  I have had a 16 and now the larger one.  I think they are excellent.  Good Luck!

Just information for comparison:  I am vice-pres of our local St Petersburg Woodcrafter's Guild and I received an email this morning from someone wanting to sell an RBI 226VS in top condition for $450.  Thought you might want to know.

if I were to only have one saw it would be a 20 inch much easier to use all around and you can get better tension control on the 20 inch in my opinion having used both, I find it very hard to use the spiral blades on the 26 inch parallel arm saw.
