Title: tutorial for GIMP?

    Is there a tutorial for GIMP that'll show me how
to convert jpgs to make patterns for scrolling?
I just downloaded a copy and could use a bit
of instruction.... I would like to learn how to
do the conversions myself.

yes there is i believe its over at scrollsaw village.there's 7 tutorials.also there on scrollsaw goodies as well. if you can't find it there's quite a few on YouTube as well.
