Post by: rickther on October 28, 2012, 12:35:18 pm
i am fairly computer stupid when it comes to attaching photos. when I try it says that the file is too large.
Is there a way to resize easily?
I would like to show some pics of my work.  ;D

I use pixresizer.

Availabel free at http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm (http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm)

I set to 640 by 450 and it seems to work just fine.  Keep aspect ratio.

You can also use something as simple as Paint. Just put the picture in it and select resize image and just type in a size. Save it and when you open it up it should have reduced the kb size.

easy to use is Microsoft office picture manager.
you can resize to pre-installed formats and see the new size.
when you have office you might already have it on you system.
