Last week my sister had to put down her 9 year old female black lab, Sophie. She was riddled with cancer and was suffering, so the choice was made. She was an outstanding dog, not a mean bone in her body, she loved everyone. She had a great life with a loving family, and she is dearly missed.
I purchased this pattern from Charlie Dearing some time ago, because of how much the picture looked like Sophie. Just finished cutting and mounting it yesterday. Sent out today, her family should get it tomorrow.
Sorry for the poor picture. Snapped a quick cell phone pic before I packaged it up. 1/8" Baltic Birch ply on painted BB ply backer, cut with FD 2/0 new spiral.

Sorry to hear that. That is some nice work though.

Nice looking cut, may it be well received and as loved as the dog it portrays. Thanks for sharing with us.

Very nicely done! I am sorry to hear about Sophie.

I am sure Sophie is much better off now. Thanks for sharing the story and the work.

Nice job Glen! I've always been a dog lover, and never found a way to let them go that wasn't excruciating. Dogs accept things much better than humans do.

What a lovely gesture that I'm sure her family will appreciate. Great work on the cutting.
