Title: Honey Do Magnetic Chalk Board with bee
Post by: DWSudekum on September 20, 2012, 10:21:20 am
The word art is from Steve Good.  The bee is from a public domain clipart and has been made into a small segmentation piece, the antenne are small solid copper wires. The bee has 5 1/8 in rare earth magnets embedded in the back. The black rectangle is magnetic chalkboard paint.  The wood that this was made from is 1/4 3ply maple ply finished with a light stain and lacquer.  It is 18 inches tall by about 10 inches wide.

How CUTE is this?!!!!!!!!  I love this project!  Great job! :D

I LOVE Earth magnets, too.  Lee Valley Tools has them and they have free shipping this week if anyone wants to order them!

Great looking board, turned out beautiful!!!

It wouldn't be large enough to hold my list; I'd call it a Message Board because I don't want to be reminded of the Honey-dos. LOL
