Title: Ribbon Box

Cut from white pine, the ribbon from 1/2 inch mahogany.  Finished with Shellac and semi gloss lacquer.  Size is 6 inch x 3 3/4 inch x 1 1/2 inch thick.

I love seeing boxes. I make some really cool boxes out of paper through the art of origami. There are so many great uses for boxes and a gift given in a box you have made is even more special. I have yet to make a wood box, but love the one you made. I might try this pattern sometime soon. Thanks for sharing your box.
