Title: M/C Plaque finished
Post by: Gabby on August 26, 2012, 02:48:07 am
Well I got it done, I would do several things differently next time.
Like not getting in a hurry to finish it, and waiting for the stores to open on Monday
so I could get the right paint.  :D
All in all it didn't come out too bad, at least I didn't screw up the cutting part It's out of BB 1/4" Plywood
and the backer is 1/4" Masonite salvaged from a display thrown in the dumpster at the lumber yard.
I hope my stepson likes it.
I won't tell you how much time was spent finding the right image, and then modifying it to suit my purposes. A bunch!
"Doc" rides a 200 + HP Suzuki crotch rocket hence the name and the rocket. He and his brother came to visit
last month and he rode his bike down from Washington. It is one gnarly sounding mo-chine.  ;D ;D

Rob Roy.

Not near as busy as last summer, after my "vacation" in intensive care and ETC. I just seem to have caught
Heart Dropsy that's a nasty disease where you Drop down on your A$$ and don't have the Heart to get up!
LOL

Just don't seem to be able to get motivated.

The green and yellow were all I had available and it was on Sunday and I didn't want to wait till the stores were open. I had tried to mix a high visibility green. It looked good in the pot but when I put it on it was a disaster. Lucky for me I had a spray can of that green and I was able to cover up the mess. So now you know why I wasn't all that thrilled with the outcome. I do hope he likes it though.

Just saw your  quotes
"Something good is brewing"
"Scrolling has it's perks"

That is leaning towards Corn girl!

But it's fun. LOL don't let me stop you just keep boiling away it'll make you strong enough to float a horse shoe, or at least stand up a spoon.
LOL
