Title: Santa Bear Intarsia
Post by: TripleB on July 30, 2012, 11:03:13 pm: This is my first real attempt at Intarsia, the pattern is by Judy Gale Roberts. I really enjoyed making this, and probably as a surprise to most, I actually liked doing the shaping process. I have learned a lot doing this, mostly what not to do, so the next one should go a lot smoother, Hopefully!

Wood's used, Bloodwood, Butternut, Cherry, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, Aspen, Walnut and Poplar dowels for the eyes.

I need to thank Al (Intarsia92) for his help through this process. All comments are welcomed, hope you like it.

Your wood choices couldn't have been better and the shaping looks great.
