Title: Woddenclocks - Clock1- Help needed.

Are there any clock builders on this board that have built Woodenclocks Clock1?  I found the plans for this at:
www.woodenclocks.co.uk

It intrigued me and I started making it.  I'm stopped at the point of assembly trying to figure out how the clock mechanism (gear train) is connected to the pendulum mechanism.  I simply do not understand it.

On what might be a related matter I do not see where the Yoke #21 goes.

I need HELP

Thanks Crusty59, I think I may have it figured out.  Seems the website mentioned above have additional exploded and rear views of the clock.  Sure enough the Yoke attaches to the spindle that runs the Actuator.  It attaches on the back of the clock and its keyhole holds the pendulum rod.  As the pendulum moves the actuator is tripped.

Yup, Thats it. The length of the pendulum will determine the speed of the clock. Shorter makes it go faster, longer = slower. I can't wait to see the finished clock

Ive been scrolling nothing but clocks for over 10 years. Its threads like this that keep me from trying the Wooden Geared Clocks. They scare the puddles outa me!!
I envy anyone who has completed a working geared clock.

I have spent about 30 hours cutting out my clock and another 10 tweaking it and it still wont run.

budprine and I have already mentioned in another post that, I'm certainly too need help on this. I have not started yet but I'd follow what I did.

That is the reason I have not tried a clock. Heard they can be very frustrating.  8)

 :D Yes ... A true deff am for same account that I do well ... In the neighboring country to mine, they always say "Can not French"  ;D
