Has anyone used the Shop Fox W1713 Scroll Saw, if so what are the pros & cons?
-
Hey jazzy, I don't know anything about the saw mentioned, but Welcome to the forum. Please go to the Introduction page and introduce yourself so we can welcome you properly!

I don't know the saw either, but I did Google it and looked at an enlarged picture of the blade holder. It appears to be for pin end blades only, something most scrollers would not want.

don't know this one, but thanks to google:
it seems to have a standard clamp for pin blades, but a clamp for normal blades is includeded as well.... but I think this is with the hex-key connection.
not a easy way to change blades.

looking at the picture I don't see a quick release for the tention on the blades, so that's turning the knob a lot..... (I had this on my old saw and I'm so happy now with my Hegner quick release)
here's some amazone reviews:

but a variable speed for this kind of money is nice, but if possible I would spend a little more.
you might want to google some more...... 8)
