Title: The work in progress
Post by: Keefie on July 05, 2012, 05:02:33 pm
I finished the cutting of it, now just waiting for the backer to arrive. I put it on green cloth to show effect of a green backer when it's fitted.

Hi newfie, It took me 2 days to cut it, then after sanding it I gave it a bath in BLO/celulose thinners 50/50 mix and allowed 24hrs to dry. then I gave it 3 coats of laquer. All thats left is to fit a green backer to it when the postie delivers it .
