The plaque was inspired by Sheila Landry's plaque of the Laundry Service - http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com/product/SLDK200 (http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com/product/SLDK200)

The bowl was cut from 3/8 pine and then stained a colonial maple. The bowl is 3 inches wide x 4 1/2 long. It was finished with shellac.

That puzzle box is terrific! I would love to know how to make such a box. Im sure your family and friends are amazed by it. Love the bowl too. I am a lathe person and never dreamed a bowl could be so wonderfully made without a lathe. Now that I am a scroll saw person to (or becoming one) I look forward to making some unique bowls. Thanks for telling what kind of finish you used. The maid sign....well it is nice....but kind of scary that the maid might not answer. lol that is the problem since we dont have a maid. Well thanks for sharing. Loved seeing your projects.
