Title: My first project.
Post by: troy_curtis on June 10, 2012, 05:16:36 am
This is my first project made with my scroll saw. I made this with a piece of oak given to me from an uncle. My wife liked it well enough to hang it on our wall.

Very nicely done.  This of course is just the start, soon your wife will want more of these for Christmas and then when she locates your patterns .... all bets are off... you will be on the saw. . . . a lot. :)  Thanks for sharing this with us.

another great cut--I have so many different crosses on my walls the house looks like the Vatican--but both my wife and I love crosses and they make great gifts--thanks for sharing--Richard

That is a nice job!  And being your first project it is Amazing (no pun intended).  You should see my first project I keep it around to remind me that I am improving.  Thank you for sharing.

Thanks all for the nice comments. Also thanks Barry...I was going to keep that one around to remind me of my beginings, but my cousin had a birthday, came to town, (hadnt seen her in 18 years) and she REALLY REALLY liked it. So now if I want to be reminded I have to go visit her in Missouri and look at it there. Right now I am in a huge project working on what I like to call intarsia...but until it is finished not sure if that is what it is. I have updated pictures of it on the intarsia posts.
