You know when people take advantage to a situation. On Feb 10 2010 I had a minor rear ender on a slippery road. The air bags didn't even deploy. The rear bumper of the other car had to be replaced at a cost of about $2500.00. I received a letter this morning from my insurance company telling me that they settled with the other driver involved to the tune of "$107,000". I was skocked. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

It never ceases to amaze me how crooked people are. They probably claimed *whiplash* and sued! Some people are just sicking!!!! The good thing that came out of this is you weren't hurt.

That's why we all have to pay outrageous premiums for insurance. I agree that the only good thing here is that you weren't hurt.

Wow that is unbelievable. So glad that you were not injured and lets hope that nothing good comes of their ill gotten gain.

we don't have that kind of claims in our country.
the guy would asked $2500 from the insurance company.
they will send an "expert" to examine the car.
if this expert will find some scratches or chippings yhen he will tell you that you only get 70% of the $2500,- "due to the condition of the car"......if...... you let it repair at a preferred company.
if you don't repair or do it yourself, you get even less......
