Well the Los Angeles Kings beat the Phoenix Coyotes 4 -3 in overtime!!! They go to the Stanley cup finals against either the Devils or the Rangers. They have a week to rest up before the finals start.
Go Kings!!!

Don't remind me Dan LOL. I have been a coyotes fan for a long time! Its nice to see some hockey talk on here. I actually played hockey for a Virginia team for about six years. Had a lot of fun! But if Phoenix was going to lose to anyone I don't mind it being to the kings.. ;)

Sorry Dan...I'm a purist when it comes to sports seasons and a traditionalist.
Baseball - Summer
FootBall - Fall
Hockey and Basketball - Winter
And yes I used to play amateur hockey in the summer as well as referee.
I was and never will be in as good a physical condition than I was in those days!
And those of us here in 'flyover country' can't get too excited when the teams from the Coasts are engaged.
I follow the Cardinals because I was born and raised to follow the Cards.
Being serious about any athlete who makes as much money as they do is beyond my comprehension.
I follow the Rascals because they are young men who are trying their best to make the grade and they play their hearts out every game.
Salary? Most of them get approximately $900 per month while they are playing (May to September). To exist they stay with "Host Families" who take care of meals, lodging and and most other personal expenses for them.
Unfortunately in major professional Sports in this day it is "All About The Money"!

The Coyotes got my Phoenix dau. interested in the sport so I'm glad they got as far as they did.
