Big Full Shell was cut from a 2x4 and finished with shellac.

Cedar Box made from aromatic cedar. The dimensions are 3 inches wide x 7 inches long x 1 ? inches deep. The box was finished with shellac.

My SIL ordered these boxes for her coworkers. The dimensions are 4 inches x 7 inches x 1 ? inches deep and has been flocked in a wine flocking and finished with lacquer.

As I do not have a video camera I can and am making a step by step with still pictures... The shells are not hard to do they just take time to sand. I will post the first part here very soon.

I am working on a less confusing step by step ... sorry no video .. have it about 1/2 way done.

I saw the article in SSWC. It seemed like it would take a lot of sanding. DW you did a great job on it. It is one of those projects that really catch your eye. I am looking forward to more info. Thanks DW for letting us see the finished piece.
