Hi , This is my latest project , A cat !( by the name of Splinter !) i am sure this was one of the members cats and i cannot remember where i got the pattern but whoever did it made a super job of it and i loved cutting it ! It is cut from 6.5 mm (1/4") ply

That is Beautiful!
The pattern was made for me by Charlie Dearing to honor the kitten we got in December that had a fatal disease and we had to put her down after only having her 3 months.
That is my "Splinter".
I just haven't been able to cut it yet. Memories still too fresh.
Thanks for showing me how nice it can be when I finally can do it....

Thanks for the great comments , And thanks for the info GB , i thought it belonged to someone on here ! well it is getting some rare reviews already and i have been asked to name my price for it ! Lol . I will add a info tag on the back of it with Splinters name ! I am thinking on doing a larger version but any i do i will add Splinters name to it !...Pete

You did a very wonderful job and I thank you for the 'tribute' ...
She was a real joy for the short time we had her.
The disease is Feline Infectious Peritonitis, commonly referred to as FIP, and is transmitted most often from the mother. If anyone should ever get a small kitten and they start to get a bloated stomach get to the vet immediately. The disease cannot be reversed and the cat will continue to build fluid in the intestines, they will become lethargic and will eventually die a terrible death. There is no test for it and it can be transmitted to other felines by bodily fluids.
