Well, as some of ya'll have already wished me well, just letting everyone know I will be having my 2nd(this time left eye) cataract surgery Wednesday May 9. The right eye has progressed well, so maybe after this left one is done I will be able to see again! Right now, with one good eye and one bad eye, my sight has been terrible. (Not so bad I can't scroll! LOL) The magnifyer and light have been a blessing! But, as with the right eye surgery, doc says no saw dust for two weeks !! OUCH! But, will have a few patterns ready to cut when two weeks is up!

Well good luck Tony! I have the same problem. Right eye was done about ten years ago and the left one needs to be done. I don't have insurance, so I can't get it done :'(
-
Hope all goes well for you Tony.
Dan that stinks. Does it cost a lot to have it done privately? We have a system that you get put on a waiting list to get it done free, you may have to wait a couple of years but you will get done. Plus you get it done sooner if you have health cover.

Sorry to hear that Dan. I hope something comes up for you soon. You take care of your eyes, we have only one chance (or maybe two) with our eyes. Please be careful. Best wishes.

all the best to you for your Cataract Sugery.
-
Well Tony, I wish you a good surgery and a quick recovery.
hope things will be better in a blink of an eye ;)
-
Good luck Tony....I was told last Thursday that I also need cataract surgery. They say all health problems stems from your genes, therefore, we must be related??? ::). Ron

I hope the surgery goes well, I had my left eye done a few years ago and it turned out great; I'm close to needing my right eye done and hope it turns out as good as the first.

Laurie is going in for her first surgery tomorrow thankfully our neighbor can do the driving, I don't believe I'm up to driving that far yet, 5 miles is about my limit for now.
Twisting the wheel still brings twinges in my chest, and I sure don't want another setback like the mower fiasco.
The DR told her that her vision will improve almost immediatly, but she will have to wear an eye patch for a while to protect it while it heals. I know she is looking forward to getting it done and over with, as with anything of this nature there is stress involved.
I probably should have her Manhattan mixed and poured when she gets home! ;D

Here's lookin' at you :D You will enjoy seeing the bright bright world again and time will speed by.

Eventually have to get both done but Dr. says..."You tell me when you are ready."
I am about ready to say lets do it but it takes two Dr.'s and 3 nurses just to put drops in my eyes so not sure if I can handle it.
I am a wimp when it comes to pain in the eyes!!!!!!!
~~~GB~~~!
There is no pain GB! or at least when I had my right eye done. I did have floater for a while that were uncomfortable, but no pain!
-
FLOATER?
Hell I have had them for years! Sometimes I feel like I am seeing the world through a spider web!
And the Dr. says there is nothing he can do about them except make them appear clearer! Oh Joy!
But like so many other things in my life I have learned to ignore them...
Good Luck Tony.. I'll say a prayer for you... Sheila
