building this 'collapsible guitar stand for my grandson's graduation next week.
Took grocery bag to the pawn shop and traced pattern !
Base is White Pine and removable neck is Red Oak.
Still needs router work, neck brace and will apply his initials to the front.
(That is not a blemish on the neck! A damn fly landed just as I took the picture!)

I don't remember about Franco but I got the idea from a video by Steve Marin.
As we all do I made some 'design adjustments' and will finish with the natural wood showing and not painted.
