Title: Two Engineers meet.....
Post by: GrayBeard on May 02, 2012, 10:52:09 pm
The first engineer calls out to the other, "Hey--Nice bike! Where did you get it?" "Well," replies the other, "I was walking to class the other day when this pretty, young coed rides up on this bike. She jumps off, takes off all of her clothes, and says 'you can have ANYTHING you want!'" "Good choice," says the first guy, "her clothes wouldn't have fit you anyway.

I think it would work better if you changed Engineers for Senior Scrollers!

To join AARP you only have to be 50, so I guess 50 makes you a senior.

I suppose it depends on who you ask. At what age dose one get a senior discount?

Hey Dan don't worry you're still a youngster yet. In my part of the world you qualify for a free travel pass at 60.

Dan, you are 50?

My oldest son is older than you are!

Many years ago he wondered why a person should get 'discount' status just because they got older. So for his 50th birthday I sent him a tee shirt with the message...

Don't ASK! Just gimme the damn Sr. Discount!

He loves it!

Hey Dan, you know you are getting old when you go into a cafe and ask for a three minute egg and they ask for the money up front LOL.

Hi Gabby you're still a youngster, with a lot of miles still to put on the clock. You shouldn't have any problems with the treadmill as you've been on it for a long, long time LOL.

Philosophically speaking, I've been on one for almost 70 years Roy!
We'll just have to wait and see how many more miles will be logged.
I'll just keep chugging along, until God calls me home.

BTW senior discounts are a courtesy extended to encourage your patronage.
NOT an entitlement as those lefties would have you believe !
So remember to thank those who give them to you, it is a gift!  :)
