Butterfly Cross

Believe it or not I can do more than Intarsia. This is the butterfly Fretwork Cross that I finished this week for my wife & daughter. Older pattern for Timber Lace, designed by Julia Meader

I was beginning to wonder if you could do none intarsia pieces, just kidding, with the quality of your intarsia pieces, doing something like the cross must have been a breeze for you. :)

Wow!  Looks like some serious work, there Brian, nice! 

It appears the butterflies are darker than the rest...did you stain those a different color or use different wood there?  I can't tell from the picture, thanks.
