old stencil printer

I have Steve first stencil printer.  After I designed a stencil I tried to print it and I keep getting a message that I have to close the VPE.  What  the heck is that?  Also I want to made the stencil multiline how do I do that?

Not sure about the VPE might google it and see what it says, for the multi line its been a while a long while since i used the stencil maker there is a option on it somewhere a box you check to make it multi line.
