First 6 months of learning
« on: October 28, 2014, 12:58:23 pm »
Here are some of the projects that didn't end up as designer firewood.    Most are pattens by Steve Good.
The eagle is Oak, the butterfly is Cherry. The box is Walnut and Cherry.  The sign is 1/4" Birch.

Nice looking projects.  Is that butterfly one of Steve's patterns?  I have the eagle one.

Thanks.  To the best of my knowledge it is Steve's.

They are all beautiful pieces.  You have learnt the craft very well.  My favorite is the butterfly it is so fragile looking.

I did the eagle out of oak also. Makes you ho;d your breath at times when cutting.
Will have to try the butterfly.  Yours turned out very nice.
