« on: October 01, 2014, 03:19:15 pm »
Hi, my grandson said he needed a keycabinet, he is 5 years old :), so i made one for him. Its made out of pine, the hinges is made on the scrollsaw from some hardwood. I did the boxjoint on the scrollsaw to.
I like to do things that can be used. The grandson is so happy now :)

Very well done and I bet that he gave you the key to his heart...... ;)

I especially like the hinges.   I have always liked wooden hinges, but never had the nerve to try making any.

That is some piece of craftsmanship, I think the wooden hinges make the whole thing stand out. Great Job, your grandson will treasure it forever.
