Cancer support pattern needed
« on: July 23, 2014, 06:18:54 am »
My boss/friend just got word that his mom has cancer. I am still a beginner at working with a scroll saw but I want to make something for his mom. I know she likes angels and I am hoping that someone has a pattern that combines the cancer ribbon and a angel together. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.

Hi and welcome
not sure what type of pattern you wanted, "plaque or portrait"
this one is portrait pattern of a Guardian Angel that I made recently and have altered it so the angel is offering the ribbon

That is a beautiful pattern. I wish I was a little more experienced with my scroll saw. I am actually looking for something in the way of a Cancer ribbon that looks like an angel.

Dianna Tompson has cancer support ribbons.

The pattern is herehttp://www.scrollsawinspirations.com/default.asp?ID=7&action=detail&ProductCode=143

They are not that hard.  I have done over 100 for our local cancer support centre in various colours. One of our members shrunk the pattern so that he makes lapel pins.  He gives them to a couple of cancer centres.

Where are you located as I do have some already cut.
